A place of calm explores the sound of psychiatry in the form of a binaural composition. The installation reconstructs the auditory space of a closed psychiatric ward based on interviews with people who have experienced that setting.

An iteration of "a place of calm" was presented at the international conference "Reimagining Psychiatry in Turin, Italy.
